Having stretched the limits of city permitting as far as possible, McLeod Residence sent a note to members this morning announcing that their much-beloved space in Belltown will be closing at the end of October after nearly two years in operation — first as an art gallery and member-based social club to their current incarnation as an open-to-the-public, event-filled bar, and art gallery (which just opened a brand new show on Friday).
