College years are teeming with temptations not only to drink, but to drink to excess. Binge drinking is defined as five drinks in two hours for men, four for women. But researchers have seen the trend spike upward, with men drinking an average of a dozen and women nine - a phenomenon they have loosely labeled 'extreme drinking.'
